Tree Seats

All our tree seats are made to order, to suit your space and personal preference.

Prices are dependent on size, but start at about £600. See above photos for ideas, then please do contact me to discuss.

Design

We make two different tree seat designs – one with a woven base and back rest, the other with an oak board back rest.  Both have oak seat boards and sweet chestnut legs.

The version with the woven base needs to be constructed on site.  Depending on the size, this should take no longer than a day.  For the non-woven version, this is made in advance in the workshop and requires on one or two hours to install (dependent on size).

Materials

Where oak is used, this is sourced from here at Bore Place and is grown and harvested sustainably in association with the Forestry Commission’s woodland grant scheme.  We are currently actively restoring ancient coppice, and much of our material is as a result of this.  The sweet chestnut is also very local – and brought in from elsewhere in South East England.
